The ABBA group will be reunited for the sake of a joint VR project

It is unlikely that today's young people listen to the music of the Swedish ABBA band, which was insanely popular all over the world in the 70s and 80s of the last century. The musical collective consisting of four participants, made furore on the music arena and became one of the most popular projects in the history of pop music. During the existence of the band, more than 350 million albums were sold. The group disbanded in 1982, but 30 years later it will be reunited for the sake of creating a joint project for virtual reality.

Participants of the once popular band today are from 66 to 71 years old, but this does not stop them from being interested in high technologies and mastering completely new kinds of art for themselves. Judging by the information contained in the press release, it will be something incredible and directly related to virtual reality and artificial intelligence. In the text, the project is called just "a completely new entertainment experience."

"We are exploring the world of modern technologies, allowing us to create a new form of entertainment content, which we could not even imagine before," says the group manager Simon Fuller.

Simon Fuller at one time led to the glory of such a collective as Spice Girls, after which he became a very respected and popular person in the world of show business. The ABBA group members officially announced their collaboration with Fuller and expressed their confidence that this person will be able to achieve a lot with the support of their music and modern technologies.

"We are inspired by the endless possibilities that provide us with the technologies of the future. It's nice to be a part of something so new and exciting. It will be a kind of time machine, depicting who we were then and who we are now. I hope that this ABBA work will please you as much as it amazed me, "Benny Andersson, a member of the band, shared with the press.
