The first IT-diplomat in the world will appear in Denmark

Some technological giants have already become much more influential than the governments of some countries, so in such a situation it would be nice to have a diplomat capable of taking on all external relations with large IT corporations, such as Google or Apple, for example. Therefore, in Denmark they decided to find and appoint a special official for such a responsible post.

The Ambassador for Information and Digital Technology will allow the government of Denmark to establish closer contacts with large companies, - Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen is sure.

The position of a diplomat specializing in digital technologies is so far only in this country, therefore it is difficult for Danes to rely on international experience - the new ambassador will not have colleagues yet, which means that he will have to start everything from scratch. The dates for the new ambassador to office, Copenhagen, have not yet been announced, but apparently the government is currently looking for a suitable candidate.

Denmark is considered one of the most advanced countries in the EU in the development of IT-technologies. The country's government is actively introducing digital technologies. So, since 2017 in Denmark it is decided to stop the release of cash. The Danish krone will now exist only in the electronic version.
