Wraith: the most powerful and fast of Rolls-Royce

After several long months of playing on the nerves, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showed at the Geneva Motor Show the fastest Wraith car in the manufacturer’s product range.

The heart of the novelty is a 6.6 liter V12 engine, working in tandem with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which produces 624 hp. (465 kW) and has a peak torque of 800Nm.

Based on the Rolls-Royce Ghost four-door premium car, the Wraith model accelerates from 0 to 96.5 km / h in 4.4 seconds.

Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös highlighted the new Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT) technology, which synchronizes the gearbox with the navigation system. Based on GPS data and adapting to the wearer's driving style, SAT technology allows you to choose the optimal moment to change gear.

It is also worth noting the voice control system, which is activated when you press a special button on the steering wheel.

The coupe is distinguished by a pneumatic suspension, night vision system, a 1300 W audio subsystem, as well as a "star ceiling" on which there are 1,340 luminous fiber-optic bulbs.

Rolls-Royce Wraith will be available in the fourth quarter of 2013 at a price of 245,000 euros.
