The company G-Form, specializing in the release of protective covers for mobile devices, advertised a new model in an interesting way. The G-Form guys put a fifth-generation iPod touch multimedia player, the Xtreme iPhone 5, lifted it to a height of 30.5 kilometers using a balloon and dropped it over the desert of Nevada, USA.
Believe it or not, believe it or not, but the player made a soft landing and remained intact. Due to low temperatures, the camera failed at an altitude of 12 kilometers. Many have accused G-Form of falsifying results. Representatives of the company, in turn, argue that the experiment was fair.
