The company Polaroid is going to open at least ten printing studios, which are designed for users of mobile devices. Photo editing and printing services can be used by anyone, whose photos are stored in the memory of a smartphone or on servers of social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram or Picasa.
The first Polaroid Fotobar will open next month in Florida (USA). Customers of the store will be able to use the wireless image transmission service, as well as various editing tools that will help users bring their photos into proper form.
The edited image can be printed on any available material, whether it is wood or metal, and placed in a frame, the choice of which also remains for the user.
Polaroid promises that regardless of the complexity of the order will be completed within 72 hours. Each Polaroid Fotobar will have its own photo gallery with the best authoring works to inspire studio visitors to new feats and achievements.
Following the Florida print studios will appear in New York, Las Vegas and Boston. In the first Polaroid Fotobar there will be a separate “Studio” hall for creative evenings, private exhibitions and photo shoots.
Thanks to instant printing studios, 2013 may be a new milestone in the development of Polaroid.
