Fujifilm stops film production

In an official press release, Fujifilm announced that it was stopping film production. The reason is clear, old technologies are not profitable compared to new digital ones. The Japanese company has been producing a film since 1934, and will finish it by March next year.

Nevertheless, the producer will leave a small department in which a special film will be produced to create archival copies of old films. It is worth noting that digital technologies have long been stolen, both in the filming process and in movie rental. So the decision of Fujifilm is quite natural and expected. Although their film was formerly very popular in Hollywood, now the demand for it is minimal.
