The latest information received indicates that this mark has already been overcome and now 80.000 applications are available for download in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Microsoft’s store is certainly far from Google’s Android Market and Apple’s appstore, but the growth is really noticeable.

The Windows Phone Marketplace continues to grow, and by the end of April and the beginning of May it is estimated that the number of applications will reach 100,000.
