Soon the company Pentax will release its new mirrorless K-01 camera with interchangeable lenses. The appearance of the camera was developed by Marc Nerson (Marc Nerson), who is known for his work in many areas, for example, creating design objects from furniture, household goods, bicycles, cars, airplanes and yachts.

Pentax K-01 is equipped with APS-C format CMOS-matrix with a 16 megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD screen for image preview, slot for SD / SDHC / SDXC memory cards, Mini HDMI and USB 2.0 ports. The novelty has a large number of shooting modes and various features like image stabilization. The ISO sensitivity is 100–12 800, but it can expand up to 25 600. As for the video, the resolutions of 1080p and 720p are supported. The frame rate per minute is 30 and 60, respectively.

The novelty will go on sale in March of this year with a price of about 750 dollars.
