Patriot Memory is preparing three new lines of SSD drives

At CeBIT , Patriot Memory is going to introduce three new lines of SSD drives - Wildfire Pro , Wildfire SE and Magma . Unfortunately, there are no exact technical characteristics of the new products, but there are suggestions as to which components will be used in them.

So the flagship Wildfire series currently uses SandForce SF-2281 controllers, as well as SATA 6 Gb / s ports. The Wildfire Pro and SE series are likely to offer more high-performance components, improved performance and access.

As for the Magma series, the Patriot may not use the SandForce controller at all. We can assume that Marvell or even OCZ-Indilinx will assume this role.
